Cost of Care

DayBreak Senior Services is committed to providing not only quality care but affordable care. We pride ourselves in being the most affordable senior care option for those who wish to remain at home. We offer a both full and half-day rates that include up to nine hours of care and all activities, supplies and meals. All scheduling is done month-to-month. There are no long-term commitments.

DayBreak Senior Services Private Pay Fee:

Full Day Pricing: $99/day for 1-4 days of care a week

Half Day Pricing $69/day for 1-4 days of care a week

Full Day Pricing: $89/day for 5 days of care a week

Half Day Pricing: $59/day for 5 days of care a week

Drop In/No Pre-Pay Fee: Full Day: $120

Drop In/No Pre-Pay Fee: Half Day: $80

The average cost of assisted living in Utah is $3,500 per month.

The difference between nursing homes and assisted living facilities is in their accommodations and the level of care they provide.

The cost of nursing homes in Utah is nearly 130 percent greater than that of assisted living facilities. The average cost for a semi-private room is $7,178 per month, and a private room is $9,125 per month. The area with the highest average cost for a semi-private room in the state is Ogden where the average price is $7,604, and Ogden has the highest price for a private room at $10,266 per month.

Memory care is typically an additional cost above assisted living or a nursing home. The incremental cost is due to these residents’ receiving 24-hour long-term care. In Utah, this additional cost is between $800 and $925 per month.

The average hourly cost of a home health aide is $29.45 per hour

At an average of just $13.16/hour, DayBreak is the most affordable care option for older adults.

Half days are only available from 9 am – 1:30 pm or 12:30 pm – 5 pm. Staying beyond that will result in a $30 charge. Minimum one full day or two half days per week. Rate inclusive of all meals and supplies. All Private Pay rates are pre-billed for the month ahead to guarantee a spot. Drop In/No Pre-Pay Fees are on a first-come-first-serve basis until daily capacity is met.

DayBreak Senior Services accepts credit/debit cards, cash and checks for all Private Pay participants. DayBreak proudly serves Utah Veterans as the only contracted Adult Day Care Center with the VA. If your or your loved one is a Veteran and you do not know your benefits, please contact DayBreak Senior Services and we will help connect you with the VA to learn if coverage is available.

DayBreak is also an approved vendor with qualified individuals through Medicaid and we are contracted with both Davis and Weber County as part of their Caregiver Support Programs. Please contact your perspective county to learn about available benefits.
